Moose International Passes all General Law changes
To our members, starting in August 1st, 2025 – all family members, including spouse over the age of 21 is concidered a prospective member and will be limited to two visits before making application for membership.

Convention Delegates Pass General Laws Amendments
Delegates to the 137th Meeting of The Moose in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed all four voting categories of amendments to The Moose General Laws in a convincing fashion this past weekend.
Changes included:
– a new stipulation that all qualified family members, including a spouse, over the age of 21, shall be considered a prospective member and limited to two visits before making application for membership;
– a nominee for Administrator must be an active member of the Lodge for at least six (6) months immediately preceding the date of appointment/election;
– electronic social media is added to prohibited campaigning tactics;
– a Special Meeting cannot be incorporated into a Lodge General Membership meeting and must be held as a separate meeting;
– approved dispensation is required for all lodge community service and charitable fundraising events. There are other amendments not listed above, but are included in the attached document.
